What is this?

Tranqvillium is a 2.5 acre piece of the California Mojave.

It was purchased in 2016 with the intent of developing into an intentional off grid community, that operates a Sustainable Living Educational and Research Facility

At the time of purchase it was a beautiful but bare piece of desert.

With little more than youthful determination…

…and some supplies scavenged from the desert…

…and a little bit of luck…(50 tons of throwaway lumber from Craigslist)

…we set out to build a better tomorrow.

We started to grow, and adapted the icosahedron geodesic dome design.

We worked hard…

…we worked smart…

…and with borrowed power…

…we grew some more.

We played nice…

…we played hard…

…and partied like there was no tomorrow.

We harnessed the Sun,

we harnessed water…

…and grew some more.

We had highs…

…we had lows…

…but when we picked up the pieces…

…we always stood up stronger.

We looked at the night sky,

and built what we dreamt.
